These sugar scrubs are simple - sugar, olive oil, and essential oil. I use lots of different scents, mostly clean and sophisticated smells with some seasonal scents as well. 

 

I found many ideas on Pinterest for all kinds of different sugar and salt hand scrubs. I thought they would make great gifts. I tried several different 'recipes' and thought long and hard about using preservatives. Ultimately, I ended up making my own recipe that suited my preferences. I decided not to use preservatives as the people I polled all said no, and I myself would like to avoid them when possible.
